Seller and product

Zephyr is sold by Alcanca Group OÜ, an Estonian private limited company with registry code 17299925 ("Alcanca", "we", "us"). Contact us at alcanca.com/contact.

Zephyr is a macOS menu bar application. One slider sets the fan speed, or you can return control to macOS. The same panel shows available temperature readings; CPU, GPU, memory, storage and battery readings depend on your hardware. It runs on Apple silicon and Intel Macs with macOS 13 or later.

The public product page is alcanca.com/zephyr. The price is on alcanca.com/zephyr/pricing. Stripe Checkout shows the final amount and currency before you confirm payment.

Price and payment

Zephyr is sold for the amount and in the currency shown in Stripe Checkout before you confirm payment. You pay once. It is not a subscription. There is no renewal and no further fee for the version you buy.

Payment is taken by Stripe on behalf of Alcanca Group OÜ. Stripe shows the amount, currency and payment method before you confirm. Your bank or card issuer may add its own conversion fee if you pay in another currency. We do not store your card number.

Delivery

Zephyr is digital. After Stripe confirms the payment, we email the receipt and the download link for the Mac app to the address you used at checkout. Delivery is that email. You need a Mac that can install software you download outside the Mac App Store.

Licence

When payment succeeds, Alcanca grants you a personal licence that is neither exclusive nor transferable to install and use the purchased version of Zephyr on one active Mac you own or control. You can deactivate that Mac in My purchases and activate another. A verified, cached perpetual activation remains usable offline; device transfers and revocations are reconciled when the app reconnects. You do not receive ownership of the software, the Zephyr name, or the Alcanca name. You may not resell, rent, or redistribute the app, or try to extract its source.

Use and risk

Fan control changes how your Mac cools itself. You can return to Automatic at any time and macOS takes over again. You are responsible for the speed you set. Alcanca is not liable for hardware wear, noise, heat, or data loss except where Estonian law does not allow that limit. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

Withdrawal and refunds

Refunds are described in the Zephyr refund policy. Because Zephyr is digital and the download link is sent as soon as payment is confirmed, you ask us to start delivery immediately. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you acknowledge that you lose the statutory right to withdraw within 14 days once that delivery has started, except where the refund policy still gives you a refund.

Law

These terms are governed by Estonian law. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live. Disputes that we cannot resolve by email can be brought in the Harju County Court in Tallinn, without limiting a consumer's right to use the courts of their own country.
